Outdoor Archery Launched at Sandbox at Alviera

With the wind blowing against your hair, a beautiful backdrop of the lush green mountains, the newly opened outdoor archery range at Sandbox at Alviera is a great venue to actually take aim,  find your center and shoot for the stars!

The outdoor range is a 5,000 square meter wide open space area in Sandbox adventure park.  About twelve (12) archers can take aim at the same time. Take aim at 10 meters, 15 meters and 20 meters target depending on skills and competency.

Newbie archers as young as 7 years old, accompanied by an adult, and adults with senior cards, are all welcome to experience Outdoor Archery at Sandbox,  The packages is priced at Php400.00 for a 1-hour session or Php250,00 for a 30-minute session.  The package includes basic coaching, bow and arrows, quiver, chest and arm guards plus one balloon target.  And to make the activity more fun for kids, various novelty targets such as famous cartoon villains is also available.

I was one of the first to try out the range as we attended the opening day last February 1, 2015 with the presence of Porac Mayor Condralito dela Cruz and Oculus Archery owner Krizia Chu-Tanquilino at the ribbon cutting ceremony and the mayors doing the inaugural shoot!

Joost was one of the first to hit the target at the shoot-out challenge!   So yeah he had to be interviewed!

This was not our first time here in Sandbox Adventure Park, we were there for the opening of Sandbox Adventure Park (story here), but when we were here we were not able to try the Avatar One , the first Roller Coaster Zipline in Asia as it was not operational back then so we took the opportunity to try it then after the archery!

A 180-meter high up and down lines and curve zipline for the daring and the brave!

The tower is also the venue for the Free Fall , Rapelling and Wall Climbing activities!

We enjoyed it though but if you want something more physical and challenging here in Sandbox Adventure Park the Aerial Walk is way much better. It has a lot of obstacle courses you need to finish from the starting point to the end point. Love it!

Sandbox at Alviera is just starting. Everyone can look forward to additional attractions and activities including night operations. With the Sandbox being opened at night, guest can finally enjoy outdoor activities under the star-filled skies! This will be complimented with the opening of the first set of dining choices in Alviera. Extreme group activities such as urban krafting, airsoft and paintball will also open this year! Exciting!
