10 Things You Should Know About GrabExpress

I am sure you know GrabTaxi, and I am sure if you have used the app, wondered what GrabExpress is all about.

GrabExpress had soft launch/test deliveries the past few months, and now they have formally launch the app to the public.

Here is what the app is all about by the bullets:

• It is a new courier service from GrabTaxi that assures convenient, reliable and safe on-demand delivery service suitable for personal or business use.
• They charge by distance Not By Weight
• Compared to the popular courier services you have used and known , GrabExpress charge by distance and by weight with maximum size of a medium-sized parcels , packages less than five kilograms with dimensions not exceeding 28x32x12cm..
• They can deliver and pick-up anything from flowers, important documents, fruits and even gadgets (just make sure the package is wrapped nice and tight). If cakes don’t get ruined by impact on the road and icecream don’t melt, they could also deliver them, but since they are very fragile items they are the two things GrabExpress could not deliver or pick-up. The rest, even fruit juices or fruits, cellphone or laptop, documents that needs to be signed right away, perfume, flowers and all.
• Minimum delivery is Php80.00 for the 1st 5 km and charges every exceeding kilometer.
• If you are familiar with the Grab Taxi or Grab Car app, then booking a pickup or delivery is as easy the same as booking a cab or a car.  They will have your items delivered within the day it was picked up.
•  All bikers are documented and went through rigurous training and character references and clearances.
• Just like GrabTaxi you can TRACK where your biker is from point A to point B. Your biker can never do a stop-over in between. He must deliver your package/parcel first before doing anything else once you booked a biker.
• GrabExpress is best available on Monday to Saturday from 8am to 8pm in Alabang, Makati, Mandaluyong, Manila, Marikina, Pasig, Pateros, Pasay, Paranaque, San Juan, Taguig and Quezon City Districs 1,3,4 and 6 at the moment.
• Aside from delivery and pickup, you can also book a biker to purchase items under Php1,000 for you!
