Pain is a very individual experience. Only the person who is experiencing it can describe it properly. Just like the pain of a brokenheart, only the one who is feeling it can tell how excruciating it is. Can a broken heart be cured? Can a broken heart be healed? Can one live for the rest of his/her life without being heart broken?
I don’t think so.
Same goes for physical pain I think. You can alleviate the symptoms probably, or maybe have your pain threshold get higher and higher until what once was so devastating for your body to feel may no longer distress you.
Pain is the way your body tells you that something may be wrong. There are different ways to describe the experience of pain, sometimes it steady, throbbing, staggering, aching, or pinching or sometimes it’s just a nuisance, like a mild headache.
Most ease the pain by using drugs. It is immediate until symptoms comes back again then you take another drug, making one drug dependent in a way.
Just recently, I discovered a new way to ease pain, and they claim to make one live free of pain without being drug dependent — the Medsonix Acoustic Resonating Theraphy System .
Medsonix Acoustic Resonating Theraphy System comes from the U.S. that integrates a medical device that uses low frequency sound waves to increase blood flow and mobility, reduce inflammation and pain and relieve symptoms of many diseases and disorders.
The system uses a medical device that is registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as Class A and was granted three U.S. patents.
It is non-invasive, drug-free, safe and effective for Filipinos suffering from arthritis, migraine, sciatica, back and joint pain and other medical conditions. It can also relieve pain caused by carpal tunnel syndrome, multiple sclerosis, bursitis, Lyme disease, fibromyalgia, diabetic neuropathy and peripheral vascular disease.
Each Medsonix pain therapy session lasts for 30 minutes and can be done while reading, listening to music or checking emails. No need to disrobe but those undergoing the therapy will be required to wear sound reduction headphones as he/she is enveloped with low frequency sound waves, often feels a warm, tingly sensation throughout the body or around the affected area.
You may watch my experience in this video:
The Medsonix pain therapy system was developed 10 years ago by Alphonse Cassone, based in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S. who experimented with sound waves for 15 years.
Two pilot studies conducted at the School of Nursing and Physical Therapy in the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2000 showed that the Medsonix Acoustic Resonating Therapy System improved the mobility of patients and reduced the pain in 85% of patients. The studies were later published in an international medical journal in 2002.
Cassone said immediate and sustained pain relief has been experienced by many patients after only one session, although four to six therapy sessions, are normally required to gain maximum benefit.
Prof. Eric Soriano III, who helped Cassone bring the therapy system to the country, is confident the system will be embraced by Filipinos who want immediate relief from pain caused by many diseases and disorders.
“This will help improve the quality of life of many patients who have tried almost everything to get rid of pain,” said Professor Soriano, who teaches global marketing and real estate at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business.
Cassone and a group of Filipino investors have formed a joint venture, Medsonix Philippines, with office at Unit 1110 Raffles Corporate Center, F. Ortigas Jr. Rd., Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
The Medsonix Device and treatment is now available in Clinica Manila at SM Megamall. A pioneering comprehensive healthcare facility in a mall, Clinica Manila has been providing quality healthcare with personal touch for 20 years.
