It has been awhile since I had a hair color touch up by a professional salon. When my blogger friend Rhea Bue recommended me to visit Gionyx in Makati for hair services, I did not hesitate. I saw her recently hi-lighted hair and it looker great.
Greetin me from the reception area was Karen, the owner of Gionyx who immediately gave a compliment about my eyes. She’s Korean and don’t know Tagalog. She directed me to stylist Miguel who showed me their color pegs. Unlile Rhea I did not opt for hi lights t but just a clean hair color touch up to hide my already showing dark roots.
My recent color was 7.11 and I wanted to go bolder and lighter. When I saw the ccolor pegs for an ash grey color I went for it. From 7.11 I got 9.11.
For some strange reason all the photo from my session disappeared all I am left is what I am posting here. Shocks.

Ash grey was not that prominent yet but I like the very subtle change in my hair color plus my dark roots are gone!
After the sesh I had photos taken with Ms.Karen, Miguel and her staff. They are so nice and accommodating. And surprisingly inspite the proximity to a main road, salon is very quiet which is really nice.
After a week from my visit here is what my hair looks like.
I really can’t tell if it is lighter or ash. But with the varying shots I took on vroadday light inside the car it looks rusty not ashy.

As for Gionyx services I like them.much very professional and fast. They have more services thsn judt hair color, treatments and perming. Ms. Karen said they aldo do eyebrow microblading too!
