After four years of waiting, another installment of SHAZAM movie franchise was finally released. I am glad to be one of the first in the country to see SHAZAM : Fury of the Gods last night during its premiere at the IMAX of SM Cinema in SM Megamall.
If you enjoyed the first movie, you will definitely love this one. This one is just filled with electrifying OMG laugh-out-loud and WOW moments, you wouldn’t want to miss a thing. The mythical creatures, the villains, and the visuals are so exciting I feel I was in a magical theme park while watching.
Btw, don’t leave the cinema even after the credits roll, there are two eggs and the last one will make you just as excited for what’s to come! Also, always keep your eyes and ears attentive to a lot of cameos and more eggs.
We were asked to come wearing our favorite DC superhero and of course, I came as Wonder Woman, which is so appropriate for this movie.
SHAZAM: Fury of the Gods
From New Line Cinema comes “Shazam! Fury of the Gods,” which continues the story of teenage Billy Batson who, upon reciting the magic word “SHAZAM!,” is transformed into his adult Super Hero alter ego, Shazam.
This insanely action-packed Super Hero sequel brings even more excitement, adventure and comedy, along with all-new realms, bigger threats, monsters and mythical creatures to our heroes. Now fully bestowed with the powers of the gods, Billy Batson and his fellow foster kids are still learning how to juggle teenage life with having adult Super Hero alter egos. But when the Daughters of Atlas, a vengeful trio of ancient gods, arrive on Earth in search of the magic stolen from them long ago, Billy—aka Shazam—and his family are thrust into a battle for their superpowers, their lives, and the fate of their world. But can a bunch of teenagers actually save the day? Does Billy even want to…?
