Papa’s Send Off

Friends, relatives, colleagues and acquaintances would comfort me. Telling me to be strong and that they offer their prayers to my father and the family. Don’t get me wrong I appreciate all the kind words and prayers. I know I will be alright like I’ve always weathered any storm but I think right now let me be or at least don’t look at me weird if I burst in tears one minute or throw in a rage in another.

To you dad, my loving, patient, kind father, wherever you are, as convincing as they would like these words to sound “Death is the final comfort.” I agree, you have been through so much pain physically and emotionally. You have made your legacy to all of us. We love you. May your soul rest in peace.
