First off, I’ve never read any of The Twilight Saga books so this review is from someone who has no idea what to expect in the movie New Moon and I say I go for Jacob than Edward in this movie. It’s not because Jacob was more buff in the movie although that was an additional factor to liking him, but more because he was there for Bella and didn’t leave her side and protecting her to the end. While Edward left her to die on her own doing nothing! What a loser I think! Hah!
Sorry to all Edward Cullen fans but that is what I think. But of course my opinion can still change on the next chapters of The Twilight Saga. But for this particular chapter, Edward is a sore loser and proposing marriage at the end of it all does not change the fact that he left. But of course New Moon highlighted Jacob and his transformation.
Oooops… my bad for the spoilers.
I was able to watch The New Moon movie during its premiere showing here in Manila tonight and I’d say the was very well done. The scenes are fast and every frame that unfolds is something that is necessary for the film. Every important detail of the story was captured. I love it! Especially the effects! Awesome! Great job Chris Weitz (movie director)
Today November 20, 2009 is the worldwide showing of the movie which is release by Pioneer Films here in the Philippines and I say if you are a fan of Twilight then go and watch the movie. It’s not a waste to watch.
Synopsis:
The Twilight Saga: New Moon is a Fantasy, Drama, Romance, Horror, Thriller by Pioneer Films and runs for 2 hours and 10 minutes. This is the second installment of Stephenie Meyer’s phenomenally successful Twilight series. This is where Bella Swans (Kristen Stewart) delves deeper into the mysteries of the supernatural world she yearns to become part of only to find herself in greater peril and where the love triangle with Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) intensified.
Dakota Fanning was in the movie what was her role and what she did in the movie is something I will leave to your imagination she was a member of the Volturi. I also love Alice Cullen (Ashley Greene) in the movie. The Cullen family’s gathering is always a heart-stopper!
Ah, I think I should stop. You should watch the movie and get sure seat at Sureseats.com

New Moon is all about Jacob and I’m glad the director and the whole team is successful in introducing Jacob with a bang.
@ Dorothy like i said I didn’t read the book and no intention of doing so because movie adaptation is always different than the book. I won’t be able to appreciate the movie if I read the book first. Anyway we all have different opinion and I think you are a Twilight saga fanatic, well i am not. And like I said, in this chapter Jacob wins me who knows on the next movie I’d fell back for Edward. Keep cool girl lol.
I think you can say this because you weren’t able to read the book. But I bet you didn’t understand all the scenes. Edward proposed in the end because of some reasons. Anyway, I’d say read the book. It’s soooo much better than the movie.
I enjoyed watching it last night. Yobs enjoyed it, too. Thanks for the tickets, Earth! Ako din, I heart Jacob more than Edward. Ang macho kasi… Medyo natulala din ako sa part na nakita ni Sam si Bella sa wilds tapos binuhat nya pabalik kay Charlie… Medyo sa likod kasi kami nakaupo so I have to stand up a little to see his body. Akala ko nude… Hahaha!
Go Team Jacob! You’ll hate his decisiveness on the next chapters, Earth!
I enjoyed the movie, too! Thanks again =)
