Imeldific meets Earthlingorgeous!
Last night was my most favorite moment in my blogging history, I talked and had a photo op with the former Philippines First Lady now Ilocos Congreswoman Imelda Romulade Marcos, Imeldific herself who owns 1,060 pairs of shoes and thousands of beautiful terno or Filipiniana gowns.
But she is not just a politician she is a living history, an icon of Philippine arts and culture and fashion!
Thank you so much to Freeway for inviting me to the National Artist Collection Presents Ramon Valera launch! Ramon Valera made Mrs. Marcos’s gowns during her state visit with President Ferdinand Marcos . Ramon Valera put the Philippine couturier in the world map for Fashion and class. He modernized the Philippines national costume or the terno.
You can see some of the Ramon Valera gowns in the background which was displayed at the one day only exhibit of his works organized by Freeway, will post about them too later.
I’ll also post more about the Freeway National Artist Collectors Series featuring Ramon Valera in my next post (post here). For now I’m a just a fan girl sharing my favorite fan moment, Imeldific meets Earthlingorgeous!
