UPDATE: Anne Hathaway is indeed the new Catwoman for the latest Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises! Here’s a peek at how she will look like in the movie:

After seeing Anne Hathaway portray a very mature role in the movie Love & Other Drugs I’m not surprised when the news came out that she will be the new Catwoman for the movie ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ opposite Christian Bale who will play Batman.
I can see Anne give justice to the role of Selina Kyle a.k.a Catwoman, her eyes are perfect for that mask, and her figure (she needs to gain some weight) would look good in that suit too. Look:

Christian Bale will play Batman in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises and Tom Hardy, someone we recognize in the movie Inception, will play the newest villain, Bane.
Anyway, to those who don’t feel good about Anne being Catwoman, I suggest you watch Love & Other Drugs so you can get rid of her sweet girl next door image and accept that she can be Feline and dangerous too (she got a Best Actress nomination at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards for this too).

Just this morning we’ve watched movie from Anne Hathaway “Ella Enchanted”. Although we’ve watched it before but my kids just don’t get enough of Anne’s movie. He’s a great actress I’ve know so far in Hollywood industry.

@ Jori there are people who don’t want her to play Catwoman or Selina for that matter because she looks to sweet and not too geeky daw I beg to disagree tho. I’m so excited to see her do the role she’s very good!

Anne Hathaway had proven that she can be either on Dramatic, Rom-Coms or Action Movies. No doubt Anne can do it. We also want to see catwoman once again on the big screen after the big abomination of Halle Berry catwoman in 2004. So maybe it is time for her come back. The sad part is the press releases don’t mention any “Catwoman”. They do mention Anne playing “Selina Kyle” but I’m afraid she will stay as Selina for the rest of the film. But still I’m hoping that the sexy temptress will do appear and add puuurfect combination to The Dark Knight Rises.
