Modernized Filipina Dresses @ Metrowear Filipina

Last June 30, Metro Magazine gathered together top designers of the Philippines to put up together a Filipiniana themed fashion show at Sofitel Hotel in Manila.

The show, dubbed as Metrowear Filipiniana, was held in honor of the country’s 113th year of Indenpence where designers are challenged to put on the runway their interpretations of the terno, the baro’t saya and the barong Tagalog.

    these are gorgeous! i love the gown worn by Daphne and the gown with the blue color … i also love the one worn by the model with blonde hair! these are so fab! we really have fantastic designers…..

    I love the Filipiniana by Hindy Weber-Tantoco and the black structured number worn by Ornusa(?).
