17th Philippine International Hotair Balloon Festival Schedule

Another weekend of everything that flies is set this year and I’m excited to see my 3rd hotair balloon fest attendance! Why? Because every year there something new and different, so each year there’s something new to look forward to.

The 17th Philippine International Hotair Balloon Festival is scheduled to fly on February to 12, 2012 at the Clark Field Pampangga. There won’t be a giant turtle or a Darth Vader hotair balloons this year from the 15th and 16th festival but it sure is gonna be a giant birthday party this year as we expect a giant birhday cake and ice cream cone along with a car, sunkist, Miss Lilly and Iwi the Kiwi flying high! There wil be more sky divers and paragliders this year from Malaysia, Spain, Australia, Turkey and of course Philippines!

The highlight of the 17th hotair balloon fest is the U.S. Air Force F-16 flight demo!

I’m also happy about the activity area for kids by Crayola and Hotdog on Sticks. Kids will be taught kite making, flight simulations and other aviation workshops.

TIPS:
There’s just too many to mention all I know is the event is something you don’t want to miss! Bring your family and friends. Bring lotsa water, a tent and a matt to rest on during the day and folding chairs too! I plan to buy new outdoor gears from ROX soon 🙂 Best tine to come before sunrise at 430am! 0r before sunset at 5pm as that’s the time the hotair baloons starts to take form and fly. Best day is the last day as there are fireworks at the last flight and enchanting night lights!

I hope to see you there and don’t forget to say hello if you see me! Oh! Entrance fee is Php200.00!

Stay gorgeous everyone!
