I’m nominating my wife =) I know she already gave way (to her mom) her chance to win this makeover. But I think she deserves this makeover too.
We’ve been through some serious hard times the past few years. I got tired of my job, and asked her if I could quit. And she said yes. Though I promise her that I would look for a new job, but finding a new job took almost year and a half. To make the story short, inako nya lahat ng responsibilidad ko. She worked almost 24 hours a day para lng mabayaran mga bills namin. And dahil dyan, her priorities changed. Bihira n syang mag ayos, she only buys 5 to 6 clothes a year. She’s just become sloppy in her appearance
And also because of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, she became overweight, and slightly depressed. Depressed because hirap na syang maghanap ng damit for her. Kaya she always wear shirts and pants. The last time I saw her in skirt was hmmmmm 7 years ago when we were still dating.
Don’t get me wrong, my wife is a beautiful person, inside and out. She’s amazing wife, daughter, friend, and overall, she’s an incredible person. However, over the past year the outside beauty has slowly disappeared. I want her to have it back so everyone can see what I see in her.
My wife is the love of my life, and she deserves a makeover.
I know I am not the most romantic or thoughtful husband and I feel that I don’t show my wife how much I love her enough. But it would be such an honor to give her this opportunity to be pampered once in a while.

I just gave birth last march 31, and I really wanna have a make over for me to look good again thanks.29yo, wife and mother of 3 kids now.
Honestly, I’m the one who needs a makeover and I’ve been waiting for a contest like this for a long time. But when my mom, Annette Figuracion-Mejia, showed interest in joining Earth’s contest, I decided to give way. I don’t want to compete with my mom =)
Also, since Mother’s day and her birthday is approaching, I want my mom to feel extra special.

But when she became a mother of 4 kids, her priority was change. She doesn’t always take the time to look her absolute best. She usually dyes her hair with P88 hair color found in the Japanese store. She doesn’t have the time to blow-dry her hair. She wears whatever she finds on sale. She cleans her nails with “merthiolate” to make it look a bit pink =) She doesn’t have the time to put on some makeup, she only uses powder and lipstick. My mom is young and cool. I want her to have a look to match, a flattering, easy style so she’ll actually keep it up.
She really deserves this makeover because in the 30 years I’ve spent with her I have seen her relax about twice or thrice. Every moment of her life seems to be all about us kids, she has left no time for herself. She tries hard to be a great mom and be there for my brothers and sister and I but we all know she is tired and needs a break.
She is without a doubt a Super Mom and I love her with all my heart. My mom truly deserves this.

I was born in Calauag, Quezon. I had a childhood friend who belonged to one of the richest family in the neighborhood. The girl, Marigold, also became my “mortal enemy”. She is pretty and mestisahin too that’s why we both had a long list of suitors kahit pa nene pa lang kami nun hahahaha. We went to the same elementary school where our “rivalry” blossomed. We always got compared with each other by our classmates and even by our teachers. Sino ba daw ba talaga sa amin ang mas cute? There were times that I emerged as the winner. There were times that she was declared victorious. The score remained tied until the time that my family went to Manila when I turned 13. That was when our friendship and rivalry ended. Wala pa naman kasing cellphone at email nung time na yun kaya mahirap makipag-communicate sa malalayong kaibigan. A few years later, I learned from a visiting relative that Marigold and her family migrated to the US. That was almost 3 decades ago.
Last February, I received a Facebook “add as friend request” from your guess is right – Marigold! She is still in the US and already married with kids just like me. I knew that our old rivalry has risen from the dead the moment that I clicked on that add button. What followed was the usual daily kwentuhan at balitaan. Then she dropped the bomb. She said that she will return to the country by mid-May in time for our baranggay’s fiesta. She asked me to be there too. That scares me. Naalala ko bigla yung napanood ko na “Just Go With It” movie ni Jennifer Aniston and Nicole Kidman. Two high school rivals who incidentally met and fought with each other again after so many years
This is the reason why I badly wanted the dream makeover. I saw in Marigold’s FB photos that she is still pretty kahit medyo tumaba. I know that I’m still pretty too but I admit that I gained more weight than her. Sarap kasing kumain eh! Kaya lang bihirang bihira akong magpabeauty at lalong lalo na ang magpunta sa gym. I was hoping na ganun din si Marigold. But what if suki sya ng beauty salons sa US considering na mayaman nga sila? Please help me to become ready to face my old foe.

Hello Ms.Earthlingorgeous love to join here in your fab makeover!!!my birthday also coming this MAY so hoping to win..and would love to experience the nail painting session with you since I haven’t tried it ever since in my entire life..afraid of nail murder and having a “sugat on your toe’s” is very painful..and I think it’s time to change my wardrobe..I have lots of knee high shorts I used when doing my grocery..and wear a pants only..never wear a shirt for a long time now..I think this a great time for a change, going 35 this year.. <3 😉
