OOTD: Kasbah Ikat

I’ve been a fan of unique prints and patterns and each time I see something different I am immediately drawn to it. When I saw this print at the mall a couple weeks ago, I just have to get it, therefore inspiring my modern Kasbah Ikat look.

This kind of print in fabric is called Ikat. Ikat is a style of fabric weaving used throughout the world. Traditional ikat fabrics can be found in diverse cultures, from Japan to Guatemala. The graphic patterns are often produced in rich colors, and the resulting designs work so beautifully for everything from clothing to decor. This kind of print pattern is very comon in Kasbah (or Qassabah) Arabic or Portoguese.

What I was wearing:
Kasbah Print Top: SM Ladies Wear SM Department Store
Skinny Jeans in Rust: PENSHOPPE
Flat shoes: Janilyn
3-Tone Ring: Forever 21

I found some other nice Kasbah Print at the SM Fairview Lookbook fashion show last night and I think I’m gonna get them. I like the 3rd and the 4th one. The mustard dress got this amazing print at the back super nice.
