Makeup Looks From Jerome Salaya Ang & Russelle Villafuerte Philippine Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013 Runway Shows

The Philippine Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013 shows is about to end today but it leaves us beautiful fashion inspiration and tips on what to buy for the Holidays as our gifts or an addition to our wardrobe. It also gave us some lovely makeup options we can try out this Holiday up until the next season of the fashion week.  Makeup looks and beauty trends from Jerome Salaya Ang and Russell Villafuerte who made use of two booming colors of the season salmon and green.

Look #7: Jerome Salaya Ang show

Highlights: Known for his enchant for drama (his collection is inspired by a Greek myth, Hades’ abduction of Persehone to be exact), Jerome Salaya Ang plays with contrast for the new season: structure and softness, sheen and matte, warm and cold.

“Dewy lips in a pretty salmon color are the perfect foil to dark eyes – a refeshing to mod.”

How to do it:
Cheeks: Contour the face with True Match Blush Sandalwood Veil applied to the hollows of the cheeks
Face: Bright and clear skin needs only Luscent Magique BB Cream
Lips: Fill in the lips with Miss Candy Nutri Shine Lipstick in Miss Marshmallow
Eyes: For a play of shadow and highlighting, apply Open Eyes Pro in Gray Harmony on the eyelids using the fingers, then blend in a darker shadow from the palette on the lower lids using a brush; line the lower lash line with a dark shade as well. Use the lightest hue on the brow bone, extending the color to the temples. To define the eye shape, apply Super Liner Duo Smoky Eye Designer on the upper and lower lash lines and coat the lashes with Double Extension Beauty Tube Mascara

Highlights: With a predominant black collection mixed in with pops of red and yellow and tribal details, Russell Villafuerte’s spring/summer presentations gets its does of color in this look with a hue that fits in with the deigner’s urban-meets-ethnic aesthetic.

“It’s a new take on the smokey eye: A viid and unconventional green.”

How to do it:
Cheeks: Create a soft flushed look with True Match Blush Delice in True Rose, applying it on the apples of the cheeks and sweeping up to the temples. Create contours with True Match Super-Blendable Powder applied to the hollows of the cheeks with round brush strokes.
Face: Smooth out the skin with Lucent Magique BB Cream followed with True Match Super Blendable foundation
Lips: Fill in the lips with Glam Shine 6J Lipgloss in Creamy Peach, using a brush for precision
Eyes: Using a damened brush, apply some Open Eyes Pro in Vivid Green on the outer corners of the eyes up to above the brow bone,rim the lower lash line with the same shade as well. Wish a wet brush, diffuse the eye shadow fill in the rest of the eyelid with color. For added deth and dimension, apply gray shadow from the Open Eyes Pro palette on the crease and on the lower lash line and blend well using round brush strokes.

I’m very much fond of playing with colors when it comes to my makeup choices, it makes my outfit and entire look pop-out and not boring at all.
