Darling You’re A Star + StarWorld Gala to Celebrate New Programs #WIWTD 103

Asia’s most beloved general entertainment channel StarWorld celebrated its newest programs and initiatives with a huge party at the Valkyrie Nightclub in Bonifacio Global City on October 11, 2016 at 6 PM. 

StarWorld StarWorld Gala invited the country’s biggest celebrities, members of the press, and esteemed industry partners to attend this glitzy event and be introduced to the channel’s most exciting properties.  

Leading StarWorld’s excellent programming that includes premium dramas, comedies and reality shows is the channel’s newly launched wedding show She Said Yes!, which reveals the magic behind some of the Philippines’ most beautiful ceremonies. The Voice Season 11 is another new addition to StarWorld that has had huge audiences tuning in due to the powerhouse duo of new judges—Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys—that injects the show with a refreshing feminine energy.

The channel has also kept in touch with the digital world by featuring on-air capsules hosted by the country’s top social media influencers, such as Ingrid Chua of The Bag Hag Diaries and Erwan Heussaff in The Fat Kid Inside. Another show that StarWorld will be producing soon is called Taste Travels featuring Cher Tiu. Starworld also launched its newest online lifestyle platform called The Girl On TV, which aims to offer the most entertaining and relevant content to its target audience of strong, adventurous and stylish women all in one home.

I did not took a lot of photos as I was being in the moment enjoying the night.  It was nice to be plugged out once-in-a-while never thinking about your social network , just like we used to do a decade ago when we party.  What I love best about the StarWorld Gala was the award they gave us.  Aside from the Star Awards thropy StarWorld was generous enough to name a Star after us in the constellation!  Now I can look up and say “darling you’re a star” . Haha!
